Hugo von Hofmannsthal’s Medieval morality play Jedermann has become a legendary and classic centrepiece of the world-renowned Salzburg Festival. First performed in 1920 – directed by Max Reinhardt – when the festival was inaugurated, it has been staged most years since then in the city’s magnificent Domplatz (Cathedral Square).

The latest series of Italian talent show Nuova Scena - Rhythm + Flow Italia – which scouts out some of the best rising star rappers – kicked off to an electric start with a launch party staged at famous Milan live music venue and nightspot, Fabrique, complete with a dazzling lightshow created, programmed and delivered by Sergio Cattaneo of design studio Cue s.r.l.

De Roma – originally Kinema Roma – is one of Antwerp’s best-known and loved music venues, and has recently added new Robe moving lights to its house rig, comprising 12 x LEDBeam 150s, 12 x LEDBeam 350s and 24 x TX1 PosiProfiles, all specified by lighting technicians Hans Lodewijckx and Roy Nonneman, and supplied by Controllux, Robe’s Benelux distributor.

The 2025 Pula Film Festival – staged in spectacular Pula Arena in Croatia, the world’s only remaining Roman amphitheatre with its four side towers fully preserved – had some extra magic added with Robe moving lights which were part of a design by Emil Koller to support the movie programme.

The acclaimed Tallinn City Theatre is re-opening after a three-year closure that saw implementation of a full renovation and technical upgrade programme, including the purchase of new Robe moving lights – 55 x T2 Fresnels and 17 x T2 Profiles – and the addition of a complete new main venue which is two stories below ground, and brings the busy and vibrant repertory theatre’s performance space total to seven – 4 main, two extras / experimental and an outdoor area. The same team also operates shows in another building down the street.

Production lighting for the vibrant and diverse Park Stage at the 2025 Glastonbury Festival was once again supplied by Bristol, UK-based SWG Events. A design by Mat Spencer – also Chief LX for the project – which included nearly 70 Robe moving lights, helped deliver great lighting for a blistering lineup including Anohni and the Johnsons, Haim, Caribou, Beth Gibbons, The Maccabees, Gary Numan and many, many more who delighted audiences throughout the three-day event.
